Open Positions

Maintenance & Groundskeeping & Guest Services / Hospitality

We’re looking for a motivated couple to join our team in beautiful Montrose, Colorado, helping us create an exceptional experience for our campground guests.

In exchange for a full hook-up (FHU) site + wages*, we are seeking a team who can support both guest services and maintenance/groundskeeping. This role is ideal for a couple who enjoys working together, staying active, and being part of a growing campground environment.

Our ideal candidates are friendly, adaptable, and great communicators—comfortable interacting with guests, using phones and computers, and jumping in wherever needed. We’re still building and improving the property, so a willingness to get your hands dirty and assist with projects is just as important as providing excellent guest service. We can accommodate most self-contained rigs (10 years or newer).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the property and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment

  • Walking the grounds daily for inspection

  • Watering flower baskets each morning

  • Keeping the camp store organized and tidy

  • Greeting guests, assisting with check-ins, and reviewing park policies and amenities

  • Taking reservations and working within our booking system (Firefly experience is helpful, but we can train)

  • Delivering firewood when requested

  • Cleaning bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities daily

  • Maintaining common areas, coworking space, and campsites (raking, leveling, trash collection, fire pit cleaning)

  • Communicating with the team via 2-way radio regarding arrivals and guest needs

  • Responding to guest questions and providing support as needed

  • Assisting with events and event setup when needed

  • Supporting ongoing property projects alongside ownership

Flexibility is key in this role. Scheduling may vary, especially early in the season or during slower periods, when tasks may shift to light cleaning, weeding, planting, or other property upkeep.

Above all, we expect our Work Campers to bring a hospitable, positive attitude at all times, whether on shift or simply interacting with guests around the park.

If you’re an energetic, hardworking couple who enjoys the outdoors and takes pride in creating a great guest experience, we’d love to hear from you.
