Our Story

Our journey began in 2019 when we decided it was time for a new adventure. We packed up our lives, moved into an RV full-time, and hit the road to explore the country. What we originally thought would be a three-month trip quickly turned into two and a half years of traveling, discovering new places, visiting national parks, and falling in love with life on the road.

Along the way, we stayed at countless RV parks and campgrounds, experiencing firsthand what made certain places special and what we wished more campgrounds offered. As entrepreneurs working while traveling, we also discovered that reliable internet and a comfortable place to get work done weren't always easy to find.

Over time, we started dreaming about what it would be like to create our own RV park, combining the things we loved about our favorite campgrounds with the amenities we often found ourselves searching for. Eventually, those conversations turned into the idea for The Campers Hub.

We knew we wanted to put down roots somewhere in Colorado, and when we stumbled across an event in Montrose for fellow entrepreneurs living and working on the road, it felt like the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded travelers while exploring an area we might someday call home. Little did we know, that trip would ultimately lead us to the property where The Campers Hub now stands.

With Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, the San Juan Mountains, and incredible destinations like Ridgway and Ouray nearby, Montrose offered exactly the kind of access to adventure that had inspired us throughout our travels. We knew it was the perfect place to bring our vision to life.

The Campers Hub isn't just a business to us. It's something we've poured countless hours, hard work, and a whole lot of heart into building. We're a small, family-owned and operated campground, and chances are, when you visit, you'll see us working somewhere around the property. From building and improving campsites to landscaping, maintaining the grounds, and welcoming guests, we've had our hands in nearly every part of bringing The Campers Hub to life. In fact, the majority of what you see here has been built with our own two hands.

And while we're incredibly proud of how far we've come, we're still very much a work in progress! We're constantly dreaming up new ideas, adding amenities, and finding ways to make the campground even better for the travelers who stay with us.

That's also what makes every reservation so meaningful. When you choose to stay at The Campers Hub, you're not supporting a large campground chain. You're supporting a small family business, helping us continue to grow, improve the property, and bring more of our vision to life.

What started as a three-month adventure back in 2019 has turned into something we never could have imagined. Today, we get to welcome travelers from all over the country, share a little piece of Colorado that we love, and hopefully create the kind of campground experience we always appreciated finding during our own travels.

Whether you're staying for one night or making us your basecamp for a week of adventures, we're genuinely grateful you chose to be part of our story.

We can't wait to welcome you!
